Ronald Asiimwe alias Kanyankore, a key suspect in late Susan Magara's murder could rot in jail after the President made changes in the police force.

News reaching our desk is that Kanyankore has been working with police as an informant despite being a regular in the cells for the same cases.

Kanyankole was earlier arrested in 2010 with seven others and charged with murder, robberies of special hire drivers and their cars.

Kanyankore was later convicted and prosecuted but he was released from prison in 2015 under unclear circumstances.

Since that release, he has been working with police until when he was arrested in Wandegeya in connection to Susan Magara's murder.

By the time of his arrest, he was with officers.

After his arrest, he also confessed of how he had been contracted by city tycoons to murder and demand over Shs 500M that is still unpaid.

Also, the Police recovered a number of vehicles UAL 330D, UAL 330D, UAL 760V, UAM 576Z, UAN 434F UAM 576Z and UAE 935P of which non of their drivers survived. They were all killed by Kanyankore.

Kanyankore confessed to have committed the above offences plus others were he strangled a special hire driver who had taken him to inspect land in Nakigalala and a one Azaria Kafuluma,  who he killed 2 months to his wedding and stole his Ipsum car number plate 395L.

It is clear that Kanyankore is not the first criminal that is directly linked to police, Kifeesi leader Ssobi and Boda Boda 2010 leader Kitaata were also directly working with police.

Kanyankore's dirty works have left many questioning the force that is supposed to keep law and order.
